Princeton University

Princeton University is more than just a great institution of learning. It is steeped in significant history. Walking the grounds reminds visitors of the struggles that enveloped our country during the war for independence. This is the site of the first continental congress, and the first State of New Jersey legislature. You will see the very old mixed with the new and modern in a tasteful blend of architectures.

Nassau Hall, located on the university's campus, was where the continental congress met, and the site where on Aug. 26, 1783 General George Washington received the greatful acknowledgement of congress for his services in establishing the freedom and independance of the United States of America.
