Washington's Crossing - New Jersey

Just over 10 miles from the Princeton Battlefield lies the point where Washington crossed the Delaware river into New Jersey on December 26, 1776. He went on to defeat the Hessions in Trenton, then marched on to the Princeton Battlefield. After routing the British in this battle, he went on to retake Nassau Hall which is now located on the campus of Princeton University.
